Eating to reduce blood cholestrol

- trim all visible fats from meat and remove skin from chicken.
- avoid or limit organ meat such as liver, brain etc.
- reduce intake of animal products ( not more than 200gms/day)
- use low fat dairy product and limit the milk intake to 300ml/day
- avoid high fat food such as butter and cream.
- limit egg yolks to minimum of two per week.
- if you choose to fry, use non-stick pan and shallow fry them do not deep fry.
- limit bakery food items, desserts, pies, pastries as they contain hidden fats.
