Responsible for defining therapeutic diet food for patients according to their ailments, planning individualized diet plan to target Renal, Diabetic, Dyslipidemia, Obesity, Liver and Infertility areas.

Practicing Dietician helping clients in designing food habits and diet menus and menus for occasions. 

Weight Management Consultant, VLCC December 2009-May 20, 2011
Led the department tasked with planning weight management diet plans. Responsible for formulating individualized programs for clients using a scientific approach to analyze food habits, body compositions.

Dietician, Talwalkar’s Mangalore June 2007-December 2009
Counseled clients on the importance of diet, reviewed their current food habits and exercise habits. Designed individualized diets and provided ongoing consultation. Represented Talwalkar’s as a dietician for Femina Miss India Contest to grade the fitness of the contestants and planning individualized diet plans.

  • I am also frequently interviewed on Akashavani, Mangalore on topics like Importance of Good Food Habits, in maintaining good health, preparing Healthy Vegetarian Dishes for different seasons. I was also interviewed in a Call-in live program HELLO KMC, were special emphasize was given on importance of diet in diabetes.
  • I regularly write articles for a Kannada Local Newspaper Udayavani and I will be shortly starting a nutritional column in Arogyavani educating people the importance of modification of diet in everyday life. My intention of starting this is to give the readers a low calorie healthy recipe every week, so that they can modify their eating habits and lifestyle.
  • I write this blog to cover topics ranging from healthy diet, special ingredients and sharing some interesting life experiences that raised awareness of healthy eating.
